I feel like a fish out of water, the exhaust fumes that are carried in the air choke me.
Car engines roar, loud voices echo against the ugly concrete walls,
high heels clash against the floor, machinery buzzes,
it's all like a whirl pool of cluttered sounds spinning in my ears.
All the people are dolled up only to make an appearance, if it were the wild it wouldn't even matter, you wouldn't need beauty on the outside but the beauty in your heart.
Instead of the ugly concrete grounds, it would be acres upon acres of wildlife's creations,
vibrant flowers, long straw like grass and ember sun sets with pink clouds.
Instead of the loud voices it would be the songs of the birds and calls from exotic animals,
instead of bashing machinery it would be butterflies fluttering wings brushing past my ears
and instead of the rearing car engines it would be grass hoppers amongst the grass lands.
The smells of sweet grass and fruits would fill my lungs instead of cheap food,
instead of a cloud of cigarette ash encircling me the fresh breeze would carry a rusty leaf and entwine in my hair. That would be my place of sanctuary;
